This publication provides an overview of the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) FY 2024 funding for Integrated Treatment for Individuals with Co-occurring Disorders in the Criminal Justice System.

Abstract

This solicitation overview invites applicants to apply for FY 2024 funding for programs involving integrated treatment for individuals with co-occurring disorders in the criminal justice system. Public- and state-controlled institutions of higher education, nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education, nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education, private institutions of higher education, for-profit organizations other than small businesses, and small businesses are invited to apply. With this solicitation BJA seeks a training and a training and technical assistance (TTA) provider with expertise in working with communities to improve access to integrated treatment for justice-involved individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders (MHSUDs). The maximum funding per award is up to $7,000,000. BJA encourages applications from agencies that have not received BJA funding before and from convening or governing bodies that can apply on behalf of one or more entities.
