Abstract
THE AUTHOR RELATES CASES OF FORGED COINS, PUBLICATIONS, GLOBES, BOOK COVERS, AND PREHISTORIC FOSSILS. HE CONTENDS THAT LIBRARIES AND MUSEUMS CAN DETECT THESE FRAUDULANT REPRESENTATIONS BY USE OF SCIENTIFIC ANALYSES IN LABORATORIES. HE PRESENTS ONE TYPE OF ANALYSIS, THAT USED TO DATE THE PILTDOWN SKULL, TO ILLUSTRATE HIS CONTENTION.
