The 1979 annual report of the Florida Attorney General contains the advisory opinions rendered by that office on questions of law at the formal request of private individuals and entities under its jurisdiction.
Abstract
The opinions contained in this report includes such matters as taxes; ordinances regulating the use of beaches; building codes; police communications; community colleges; mental health services; Department of Corrections activities; county budgets, county commissioners, county roads and bridges (for various Florida counties); courts; crimes (e.g., county investigative authority on arson, costs of hospital examination of rape victims); social services; services to the developmentally disabled; drugs and drug abuse (e.g., police authority to administer blood tests); medical examiners; child abuse reporting; parole (e.g., minimum mandatoy sentences, split sentences, interview dates); public defenders; traffic courts; wiretapping. A subject index of the opinions contained in the report and a citator to Florida statutes are appended. The report also includes a list of Attorneys General of Florida since 1845.
