Abstract
THIS TECHNIQUE, WHICH HAS BEEN USED IN CHICAGO FOR DECADES, PROVIDES AN ADVANTAGE OVER MORE CUMBERSOME METHODS IN BOTH SPEED AND FREEDOM FROM ERROR INVOLVED IN THE TRANSPOSITION OF INKED STRIPS TO THE FINGERPRINT CARD WITH THE 'SPOON METHOD'. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
