Fatal arrow wounds documented in two cases are discussed and analyzed for their similarities and differences to bullet wounds.
Abstract
Field-tip (target arrow head), and broadhead (largegame hunting arrow head) wounds were analyzed. Similar to a bullet wound, the field-tip caused a circular, abraded edged puncture, and unlike a bullet wound, radiating incised injuries were noted on broadhead punctures.
