Abstract
A SYSTEMS ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION OF THE ENTIRE TRANSMISSION OPERATION INCLUDES AN EXAMINATION OF THE NEED FOR A FACSIMILE SYSTEM IN NEW YORK. THE REPORT INCLUDES A DETAILED ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION OF A NUMBER OF ORIGINAL FINGERPRINT CARDS AND THEIR FACSIMILE COPIES WITH REGARD TO THEIR QUALITY AND USEFULNESS. ALSO PROVIDED IS A SUMMARY OF A REPORT WHICH EVALUATED TWO COMPETING FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT SYSTEMS IN TERMS OF OPERATING COSTS AND UTILITY. SPECIFIC CONCLUSIONS, RECOMMENDATIONS, AND DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE SELECTION OF FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT ARE GIVEN.
