THIS IS A DESCRIPTION AND AN EVALUATION OF NEBRASKA'S TAKE TIME TO CHECK CRIME BURGLARY PREVENTION PROGRAM, A CITIZEN CRIME AWARENESS AND INFORMATION CAMPAIGN CONDUCTED IN THE SUMMER OF 1974.
Abstract
A PRE-CAMPAIGN OPINION SURVEY OF NEBRASKANS AND THE PROBLEM OF CRIME IS DISCUSSED, ESPECIALLY WITH REGARD TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS WHICH WERE MADE FOR A BURGLARY INFORMATION PROMOTION. INTERVIEW MATERIALS AND RESULTS ARE INCLUDED. FIFTEEN OUTDOOR CAMPAIGN POSTERS WERE ALSO RATED BY THE PUBLIC FOR EFFECTIVENESS PRIOR TO THE ACTUAL CAMPAIGN. THESE RESULTS ARE DISPLAYED AND DISCUSSED. THE STATEWIDE MULTI-MEDIA BURGLARY PREVENTION CAMPAIGN IS DESCRIBED AND THE PUBLIC REACTION TO IT IS STATISTICALLY ANALYZED. MANY CAMPAIGN POSTERS AND MATERIALS ARE APPENDED....MSP
