This article analyzes the legal framework the European Community (EC) has used to develop, pursue, and expedite its large-scale antidrug policies.
Abstract
The article proposes to: (1) provide a bibliographical survey of the state of affairs of legal EC antidrug activities; (2) analyze the scope of the legal foundations on which the Community intends to base its antidrug policy after the Treaty of Maastricht; and (3) discuss several court decisions relating to anti-drug strategies.
