This article is devoted to a discussion of whether violence can be understood.
Abstract
This author's goal is to understand the roots of violence by examining it from different angles because violence is so commonplace and so little understood. Questions addressed here include what is violence, can it be understood, how does a person become involved, and can it be channeled?
