Abstract
THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES SOME PROFITABLE RESULTS WHICH HAVE OCCURRED IN THE FBI WHEN, FACED WITH A DIFFICULT AND FAST-MOVING INVESTIGATION, THEY HAVE ALTERED THEIR ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGN FROM ITS TRADITIONAL HIERARCHIAL FORM TO AN INVESTIGATIVE MATRIX.
