This paper examines the effects of gang membership and uncertainty absorption on interaction patterns in a single family unit.
Abstract
The research effort on which this paper is based dealt specifically with a young man who was a gang member, his immediate family, his gang, and the companionship family relationship (covert role) with its impact upon interaction patterns within the immediate family. The paper includes statement and definition of the problem, definition of terms, and delimitations of the research. There are separate chapters on Related Theory and Methodology. Data are presented in 21 chapters, with special chapters for Analysis of the Data and Summary and Conclusions. Footnotes, tables, figures, appendixes, bibliography
