DIRECTIONS FOR TRIAGING, OR SORTING, CALLS ARE PRESENTED ALONG WITH A FLOWSHEET EXAMPLE, TRACE CALL PROCEDURES, EXAMPLES OF CALL RESPONSES, AND MESSAGETAKING. FLOWSHEETS ARE PROVIDED FOR A VARIETY OF CALLS, INCLUDING ALCOHOLISM, CHILD ABUSE, COUNSELING, DRUGS, FINANCIAL HELP, FOSTER CARE, GAMBLING, LONELINESS, MARITAL DISCORD, PSYCHIATRIC DISORDERS, RAPE OR ASSAULT, SUICIDE, AND TRANSPORTATION.
