Abstract
The book focuses on the initiation of problems caused by drug use and the resulting harmful effects. Book chapters look at drug dependence and tolerance, harms and dangers of cannabis and other illicit drugs, objectives and tactics of the anti-prohibition movements, the escalation of drug use, legal drug markets, organized crime related to drugs, international drug policies and United Nations conventions, drug legalization and decriminalization, and drug awareness and education.
