Abstract
THE STRUCTURAL INEQUALITIES WHICH ARE DISCUSSED ARE USED TO ACCOUNT FOR A CLOSING OF CULTURAL OPTIONS WHICH FORCED THE CREATION OF NEW CULTURAL RESPONSES. THE BASIC STRUCTURES OF BRITISH SOCIETY EXAMINED ARE EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, INCOME, HOUSING, AND RACE.
