Abstract

The directory also lists the names of judges. The listings are divided into eight categories: law enforcement, prosecution and defense, courts, probation, youth, corrections, parole, and State-level criminal justice agencies. The law enforcement agencies include associations, police agencies, sheriff departments, capital police, and other specialized police organizations. The prosecution and defense agencies include associations, district attorneys, special prosecutors, United States attorneys, and public defense services. The courts include superior, lower, and family courts. Probation agencies include associations, county probation departments, and the New York City Department of Probation. Youth agencies include associations; county, city, town, and village youth bureaus; and the Division for Youth Facilities. Corrections agencies include associations, New York State correctional facilities and camps, and jails. Parole agencies include associations and regional offices.
