Within the section for each State, four main categories of adult and juvenile services -institutions, parole boards, parole services, and probation services -- include information that explains the organization of specific services. This data should assist the user in understanding the total organizational and administrative structure of correctional services in any given jurisdiction. Statistical summaries include updated information on cost of care and number of employees for individual facilities.
