Abstract
Among the topics covered in describing the center's research program are early priorities, unifying characteristics, and characteristics of a longitudinal study of criminal justice processing in one Canadian jurisdiction. Other topics considered in relation to the research program are historical research, integration and avoidance of overlapping with government research, recurring problems with empirical research, research report recommendations, and delays in publishing research results. The complementary nature of research and teaching is also reviewed.
