HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNAL CAUSALITY THEORY OF CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR AND ANALYSIS OF CHROMOSOMAL STUDIES CONCLUDES THIS APPROACH TO BE OF NO VALUE.
Abstract
CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR HAS IN THE PAST BEEN ATTRIBUTED TO DEFECTIVE OR EVIL FORCES WITHIN THE HUMAN. ALTHOUGH REJECTED BY MODERN RESEARCHERS, THIS THEORY HAS BEEN SUPPLANTED BY THE BELIEF IN A CAUSAL CHROMOSOMAL PATTERN. THIS STUDY CITES EVIDENCE AND OPINIONS THAT BOTH THEORIES ARE WITHOUT FOUNDATION.
