THIS EVALUATION FINDS DELAWARE COUNTY'S TOTAL INFORMATION SYSTEM TO BE FULLY OPERATIONAL, SATISFACTORILY MEETING THE NEEDS OF THE COUNTY'S CRIMINAL JUSTICE AGENCIES, AND ON SCHEDULE IN MEETING GRANT OBLIGATIONS AND WORK PLANS.
Abstract
THE REPORT DESCRIBES THE SIX MAJOR AREAS OF DATA PROCESSING AND INFORMATION TRANSFER HANDLED BY THE SYSTEM. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE MADE FOR INCREASING THE SPEED AND EFFICIENCY OF DATA PROCESSING, FOR GETTING GREATER UTILIZATION OF THE SYSTEM 'PRODUCTS', FOR COMPUTERIZING THE CRIMINAL COURT DOCKET, AND FOR MAINTAINING THE SYSTEM'S FLEXIBILITY AND RESPONSIVENESS THROUGH INTERAGENCY COOPERATION AND THE MULTI-AGENCY POLICY COMMITTEE. THE EVALUATOR'S METHOD IS ALSO EXPLAINED.
