A study of 71 self-disclosed date rapists produced findings quite at variance from those obtained from the study of institutionalized populations.
Abstract
This is the case in virtually every aspect of the offense, ranging from the personal and social characteristics of the offenders, the rape interaction, and the victimization experience. It is concluded that this is an extraordinarily underreported offense which primarily stems from the fact that the offense is between intimates. (Author abstract)
