Abstract
It discusses the procedures to follow when the police arrive and during the hospital visit. Victims may be charged for the medical examination in some jurisdictions, and rape crisis centers are available to help victims needing information/counseling. The booklet also covers the following investigation and court procedures (from the preliminary hearing to the grand jury and the trial), emphasizing victims' rights under the law.
