Abstract
AFTER AN INITIAL DISCUSSION OF THE NATURE AND CLASSIFICATION OF CRIMINAL OFFENSES, THE AUTHOR DETAILS THE BRITISH CONCEPTION OF CRIMINAL RESPONSIBILITY. HE THEN DISCUSSES THE 'PRELIMINARY' CRIMES OF INCITEMENT, CONSPIRACY AND ATTEMPT. THE VARIOUS OFFENSES AGAINST THE PERSON AND AGAINST PROPERTY ARE TREATED IN DEPTH AS ARE OFFENSES AGAINST THE STATE, PUBLIC MORALS AND THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE. THE AUTHOR CONCLUDES WITH AN OUTLINE OF BRITISH PROCEDURE WHICH INCLUDES THE REFORMS ENACTED IN 1971.
