Abstract
EXCLUDED FROM THE DISCUSSION ARE VARIATIONS IN STATE CRIMINAL PROCEDURE AND FEDERAL PROSECUTION. THE FOCUS IS ON THE MAJOR COMPONENTS OF THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM, POLICE, COURTS AND CORRECTIONS, AND ON INDIVIDUALS VESTED WITH DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY, POLICE, PROSECUTORS, AND JUDGES.
