THIS TEXT DESCRIBES THE PLANNING AND STUDY PHASE OF THE ROCHESTER-MONROE COUNTY CRIMINAL JUSTICE RESEARCH, MANAGEMENT AND INFORMATION SYSTEM, RENAMED THE PROGRAM FOR SYSTEM PERFORMANCE, EVALUATION, AND RESEARCH.
Abstract
THE OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THIS INFORMATION SYSTEM IS TO IMPROVE THE OPERATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE COURT SYSTEM. THE GOAL OF THE PLANNING AND STUDY PHASE (PHASE I) IS TO STUDY THE NEEDS OF THE USER AGENCIES AND TO ESTABLISH OBJECTIVES AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE INFORMATION SYSTEM BEST SUITED TO THEIR NEEDS WITHIN REASONABLE BUDGETARY LIMITATIONS. THIS REPORT OUTLINES THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM FEATURES THAT WILL BE STUDIED, LISTS THE RESEARCH RESOURCES FOR PHASE I, AND PRESENTS A TIMETABLE FOR THE TWO PROJECT PHASES.
