Abstract
The pamphlet offers advice on steps to take to make homes more secure from intruders. It suggests precaustions to take when leaving home to go on vacation or when staying at a hotel or motel. Con games which prey primarily on senior citizens are described in detail. Advice is given on precautions and defense against molesters and muggers. Police-sponsored crime prevention activities such as crime stop, operation identification, neighborhood watch, and operation notification are explained. Businesses are given tips on precautions to take to avoid robbery, shoplifting, or bad checks, and on what to do during a robbery. Finally, a list of poison antidotes and drug counterdoses is provided.
