North Dakota law enforcement agencies reported 25,532 arrests in 1991, a slight increase over the 25,508 arrests in 1990.
Abstract
Approximately 26 percent of total arrests in North Dakota in 1991 were arrests of juveniles. Most juveniles were arrested for the offense of larceny/theft. Driving under the influence was the arrest committed most by adult males. Adult females most often were arrested for fraud. The largest total arrests was in the 25-29 age group. Only 4,372, 17.1 percent, of the reported arrests, were arrests for crime index offenses. 8 tables
