Abstract
THE REPORT IS DIVIDED INTO TWO PARTS. PART I EXPLORES THE MAIN THEME, CRIME IN INDUSTRIALIZED COUNTRIES. INCLUDED ARE TOPICS SUCH AS DEVELOPMENTS IN CRIMINOLOGY AND CRIMINAL POLICY IN SCANDINAVIA; CRIMINALITY IN INDUSTRIALIZED COUNTRIES; ASPECTS OF ORGANIZATION IN CRIME PREVENTION MEASURES TAKEN IN INDUSTRIALLY DEVELOPED REGIONS OF THE USSR; INDUSTRIALIZATION, URBANIZATION, AND CRIME; PROBLEMS AND RESULTS IN CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION IN THE GERMAN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC; PHENOMENA IN THE FIELD OF THE DYNAMICS AND STRUCTURE OF CRIME IN POLAND; AND CRIMINOLOGICAL DATA AS INDICATORS ON CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY.
