Abstract
The report describes two new programs begun in 1993 in association with the family court: the Juvenile Intensive Supervision Program and Support Intensive Supervision Program. Other probation information under the family court pertains to the Family Unit, the Intake Unit, and adjustment services for persons in need of supervision. Information on probation under criminal courts covers the Pretrial Release Unit, investigations and statistics, court supervision and statistics, the geographic location of all probationers, and probation violations. The special programs discussed pertain to enhanced supervision, conditional release, domestic violence, drunk driving, intensive supervision, electronic home confinement, alternatives to incarceration, and day reporting. Additional information focuses on drug testing and 1994 plans and programs.
