Abstract
THE NATIONAL COLLEGE OF THE STATE JUDICIARY AND THE AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION CONDUCTED 28 RESIDENT SESSIONS AND 18 STATE AND REGIONAL JUDICIAL SEMINARS FOR GENERAL JURISDICTION JUDGES. IN 1976, 6,283 JUDGES FROM ACROSS THE U.S. COMPLETED THE INTENSIVE THREE WEEK SESSIONS ON SUBJECTS SUCH AS CRIMINAL EVIDENCE, COURT MANAGEMENT, SENTENCING, SEARCH AND SEIZURE, ALCOHOL AND DRUGS, FAMILY LAW, PROBATE, AND TRAFFIC LAW.
