The Connecticut Justice Commission for the first time in its 12-year history had no new Federal financial commitments to LEAA.
Abstract
The commission worked with previously allocated funds and with juvenile justice funds only. The report lists commission members and details LEAA funding for 1968-81, grants awarded 1980-81, LEAA discretionary grants 1979-80, and high priority areas addressed in justice system planning in 1980. These included an examination of the arson problem, of the State's criminal sentencing practices, of existing practices and services in the pretrial detainee area, and of the State's crime laboratory service system.
