FIRE ALARMS ARE DESCRIBED, AND METHODS ARE PRESENTED FOR SAFEGUARDING VARIOUS ITEMS, SUCH AS PAINTINGS, AGAINST THEFT. THE AUTHOR ALSO EXPLAINS HOW TO PROTECT ONE'S PRIVACY, AND HOW TO SECURE INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES.
