THIRD IN A SERIES OF STUDIES OF PSYCHOMOTOR FUNCTION OF JUVENILES, THIS TIME COMPARING STATISTICALLY THE RESULTS OF CLINICAL TESTS, LABORATORY TESTS, AND THE GRADES MADE IN SCHOOL AND ON CERTAIN COGNITIVE SKILLS TESTS.
Abstract
ALTHOUGH THE CLINICAL EXAMINATION ENABLE ONE TO OBSERVE THE EXISTENCE OF SMALL SIGNS OF NEUROLOGICAL DISORDER, THE PRESENCE OF SUCH SIGNS DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE INDIVIDUAL IS NECESSARILY A CRIMINAL OR A POTENTIAL CRIMINAL. HOWEVER, SUCH STUDIES AS THIS DO NOT MERELY PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE INTEGRITY OF THE NERVOUS SYSTEM AND POTENTIAL MANUAL SKILLFULNESS. THEY CAN ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO OUR KNOWLEDGE OF THE INDIVIDUAL'S PERSONALITY WHEN EXAMINED IN CERTAIN OF ITS TEMPERAMENTAL ASPECTS. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION, SEE NCJ-30255 AND NCJ-30262. --IN FRENCH
