Abstract
THIS ARTICLE SERVES THE TWO-FOLD PURPOSE OF REVIEWING THE LITERATURE DEALING WITH COMPARATIVE CRIMINOLOGY AND OF SUGGESTING NEW DIRECTIONS FOR RESEARCH. THIS MACROCRIMINOLOGICAL GENERAL THEORY WILL BE ENRICHED BY THE CONTRIBUTION OF MORE AND MORE SEARCHING TECHNIQUES OF MULTIVARIED ANALYSIS, MULTIPLE REGRESSIONS, OF ANALYSIS THROUGH A DICHOTOMY OF ATTRIBUTES, AND ANALYSIS OF THE DISCRIMINANT FUNCTION, IN SHORT, TECHNIQUES OF ANALYSIS THROUGH WHICH THE SCIENCE OF ECONOMETRICS BROUGHT A LEVEL OF REFINEMENT PREVIOUSLY UNTHINKABLE IN THEORETICAL ANALYSIS.
