THE FORMAT IS ADAPTABLE TO SEVERAL TYPES OF AUDIENCE AND CAN BE USED AS THE BASIS FOR A MAJOR TRAINING PROGRAM IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE FOR EITHER FORMALIZED OFF-CAMPUS CREDIT COURSES, OR CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR PLANNING AND EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT TRAINING. SPECIFIC FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM ARE DESCRIBED, AND SUGGESTIONS MADE FOR FUTURE INSTITUTES. THE INSTITUTE WAS HELD AT WASHBURN UNIVERSITY.
