Abstract
THE BOOK GIVES A BRIEF VIEW OF THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM AND OFFERS A SYNOPSIS OF THE VARIETY OF CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES OPERATING WITHIN THE SYSTEM. PRINCIPLES FOR ESTABLISHING EFFECTIVE PROGRAMS TO EFFECT CHRISTIAN REHABILITATION OF OFFENDERS ARE TREATED, WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION GIVEN TO VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS. A CHAPTER IS DEVOTED TO THE FORMATION OF INMATE CONGREGATIONS WITHIN CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTIONS, AND TYPES OF COUNSELING ARE DISCUSSED.
