Abstract
The materials include an information sheet that defines child neglect, an article that places chronic child neglect in perspective, a brochure containing guidelines to help schools protect abused and neglected children, an article on fatal child neglect, and articles on how to protect children. The materials also include a brochure describing goals of the National Resource Center on Child Abuse and Neglect, an article on understanding the medical diagnosis of maltreatment, a review of journal articles on child neglect dated between 1988 and 1991, and a bibliography of articles on child abuse and neglect dated 1992 or 1993.
