POLICE DEPARTMENTS IN NEW JERSEY POOLED FILMS, FUNDS, AND MANPOWER AND DEVELOPED A LIBRARY OF TRAINING AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS FILMS FOR USE BY ANY DEPARTMENT.
Abstract
THE AUTHOR NOTES THAT THE ENTIRE STAFF OF THE LIBRARY IS VOLUNTEER. KEY CONSIDERATIONS IN FORMING SUCH A LIBRARY OF FILMS ARE (1) AN ON-GOING COMMITMENT OF FUNDS AND PERSONNEL, (2) A REASONABLE GEOGRAPHIC BOUNDARY, AND (3) A BALANCED MEMBERSHIP OF LARGE AND SMALL DEPARTMENTS.
