INVESTIGATION OF STOLEN JEWELRY AND THE POSSIBLE WEAPONS INVOLVED, ILLUSTRATING THE DIFFICULTIES IN THIS TYPE OF SEARCH.
Abstract
THE INVESTIGATORS UTILIZED POLICE DOGS, MUTUAL INDUCTANCE INSTRUMENTS, A MAGNETOMETER PROBE, AND A FLUX-GATE MAGNETOMETER IN THIS UNPRODUCTIVE SEARCH. THE PAPER CONCLUDES THAT ALTHOUGH LIAISON WITH THE HAMPSHIRE POLICE WAS IN THIS CASE HELPFUL, IT IS GENERALLY FELT THAT LIAISON BETWEEN FORCES AND THE EQUIPMENT SECTION TEAM ARE, AT THE TIME OF THIS WRITING, IN EARLY STAGES.
