For each State, a chart shows the counties in which a drug court has been operating for over 2 years, the counties in which drug courts have recently been implemented, and the counties currently planning to initiate drug courts. For each State, the total number of "active" (operating or being planned) drug courts are reported, distinguished as being juvenile drug courts and other types of drug courts. The chart also shows for each State the number of "Additional Drug Court Programs Suspended/Consolidated" (were operating and were planned), distinguished as juvenile courts and other types of drug courts. In addition, the chart shows the "Age of Juvenile Court Jurisdiction" with respect to the initial offense and authority for sanctions and services, if the latter is different than age of jurisdiction for the initial offense. The information and data encompass 49 States, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Northern Marina Islands.
