BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION THEORIES ARE REVIEWED. EXAMPLES ARE GIVEN OF SUCCESSFUL APPLICATIONS OF BEHAVIOR CONTRACTS, ROLE PLAYING, RESPONSE COST, AND TIME OUT (SITUATION WITHDRAWAL) TECHNIQUES.
