ARTICLE DISCUSSES BODY MOVEMENTS AND BEHAVIOR THAT CAN BE A GIVEAWAY TO INNOCENCE OR GUILT IN AN INTERROGATION.
Abstract
CROSSED ANKLES, COVERING THE MOUTH WHEN ANSWERING, LACK OF EYE CONTACT, AND A HUNCHED AND DRAWN MANNER MAN ALL BE INDICATIONS THAT AN INTERROGEE HARBORS FEAR AND WORRY ABOUT HIS RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS. THIS BEHAVIOR MAY BE AN INDICATION THAT THE INTERROGEE IS NOT BEING TRUTHFUL, THE AUTHOR EXPLAINS. OTHER BODILY REACTIONS ARE ALSO LISTED. EACH REACTION NEED NOT BE AN INDICATIO OF GUILT, A NUMBER OF THEM SHOULD BE PRESENT, AND EVEN THEN THEY SHOULD ONLY SERVE AS A GUIDE AND NOT THE DEFINITIVE REASON FOR LABELING AN INTERROGEE GUILTY....BS
