ALSO PRESENTED ARE DISCUSSIONS OF THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR VOLUNTEER IN PERFORMING HIS OR HER DUTIES, THE MANUAL OUTLINES THINGS TO TALK ABOUT WHEN WORKING WITH JUVENILES, BASIC CONCEPTS OF COUNSELING, TOOLS OF COMMUNICATIONS, AND QUESTIONS FOR VOLUNTEERS AFTER MEETING THE PROBATIONERS. FINALLY, THE MANUAL PRESENTS SEVERAL CASE HISTORIES, PROVIDES ANSWERS TO COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS, AND LISTS SUGGESTED READINGS FOR VOLUNTEER PROBATION OFFICERS.
