OPERATIONS, PROBLEMS, AND SUGGESTED PROCEDURAL IMPROVEMENTS OF THE COURT-ORDERED LOCATION BY POLICE OF PERSONS SUSPECTED OF HAVING COMMITTED A CRIME.
Abstract
THE CONTINUING LIBERALIZATION OF THE COURTS AND OF THE CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE HAS RESTRICTED THE USE OF ARRESTS AND GIVEN A GROWING IMPORTANCE TO THE MEASURE OF HAVING THE POLICE ONLY ASCERTAIN THE PERSON'S WHEREABOUTS. ALSO DISCUSSED IS THE IMPACT OF A PROJECTED COMPUTERIZATION OF THE SYSTEM. --IN GERMAN
