THIS VOLUME, ILLUSTRATED WITH PHOTOGRAPHS, MANY IN COLOR, PRESENTS THE EFFECTS AND EVIDENCE OF DEATH FROM SUICIDE, MURDER, AND ACCIDENTAL AND NATURAL CAUSES.
Abstract
TEXTUAL COMMENTS AND EXPLANATIONS ARE PROVIDED, AS WELL AS SHORT INTRODUCTIONS TO EACH CHAPTER. THE AUTHOR GIVES MANY DISCUSSIONS OF THE MECHANISM BY WHICH SOME POSTMORTEM CHANGES AND TRAUMATIC INJURIES ARE PRODUCED. IN MANY CASES THE CIRCUMSTANCES PRODUCING THE DEATH ARE CORRELATED WITH THE LETHAL EFFECT.
