REVIEW OF THE FIRST THREE MONTHS OF OPERATION OF A PROJECT TO PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT FOR JUVENILE DELINQUENTS REFERRED BY THE FULTON COUNTY, GEORGIA JUVENILE COURT.
Abstract
THIS REPORT PROVIDES INFORMATION FOR ASSESSING THE DEGREE TO WHICH INTERIM GOALS AND OBJECTIVES ARE BEING MET. IT ALSO HAS THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING IF PROJECT MODIFICATIONS OR REDUCTIONS ARE REQUIRED. MANY PROGRAM GOALS COULD NOT BE ASSESSED BECAUSE OF THE SHORT PERIOD OF OPERATION. HOWEVER, OF THE 125 BUSINESSMEN AND RESIDENTS WERE SENT WRITTEN INVITATIONS TO ATTEND THE FIRST WORKSHOP ON METHODS OF CRIME PREVENTION. FOUR BUSINESSMEN AND THREE RESIDENTS ATTENDED. IT APPEARS THAT PROJECT EFFORTS MUST BECOME MORE AGGRESSIVE TO OBTAIN RESULTS.
