This article reports the findings of a study on activities being carried out to prevent elder abuse and the perceived effectiveness of the activities.
Abstract
The authors review some of the literature that raised the issue of prevention of elder abuse but indicates the lack of studies on methods of elder abuse prevention. This article presents the results of a survey to which 183 directors of Area Agencies on Aging responded.
