This is an evaluation of Interpol's murder data.
Abstract
Reviews of survey studies in different nations suggested that Interpol's murder data were valid because most unreported crimes were minor; rates of unreported crimes were similar in developing and developed countries; methodological and definitional variations could be considered random measurement errors. The LISREL model assessing reliability estimates found that Interpol data were reliable and stable measures across nations and time. Tables, references
