Abstract
Highlights from this report include: 1) the agency processed over 1 million fingerprints during the year, with an average turnaround time of 23 minutes; 2) significant efforts were made the Office of Justice Information Services to maximize available technologies and expand the use of Webcasts and Webinars by officers; 3) the Office of Public Safety was able to establish four regional Crime Analysis Centers through the implementation of innovative data-sharing approaches; 4) maintained a registry of over 30,000 registered sex offenders despite major staffing reductions; 5) conducted more than 36,000 risk and needs assessments for adult offenders and more than 50,000 assessments for juvenile offenders; and 6) monitored more than 900 active grant contracts.
