Abstract
The proposed constitutional amendments concerned the judiciary, judge qualifications and selection, judge removal, appellate courts, superior courts, civil and criminal courts, district courts, town and city courts, trial by jury, and court administration. The proposed statutes dealt with unified court system administration; court system financing; court structure; judge selection and discipline; and criminal defendant release, detention, and indictment.
