ILLICIT SPIRITS ARE DIFFERENTIATED FROM LIQUOR IN THAT THEY HAVE A WIDE RANGE OF ETHYLY ALCOHOL CONCENTRATIONS, ARE HIGHER IN FUSEL OILS AND PROBABLY CONTAIN HIGHER TRACE AMOUNTS OF COPPER THAN COMMERCIAL LIQUOR.
Abstract
ALCOHOL STRENGTH, FUSEL OILS BY VPC (VAPOR PHASE CHROMATOGRAPHY OR GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY AND COPPER CONTENT BY AA (ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPY) ARE REPORTED FOR COMMERCIAL AND ILLICIT SPIRITS.
